SORE OR NOT SORE? 

The soreness examples listed below will guide you through common scenarios regarding soreness after Games and Performance Days. For more specific protocols regarding arm recovery and strength, look into the DVS Arm Care System.

#1: ARM SORENESS PRESENT 1 DAY AFTER GAME/PERFORMANCE DAY

A player had a Game or Performance Day yesterday and woke up this morning with Arm Soreness. 

  • They are only eligible for Training Phase 1A or 1B

#2: ARM SORENESS PRESENT 2 DAYS AFTER GAME/PERFORMANCE DAY

A player had a Game or Performance Day 2 days ago and woke up yesterday morning and this morning with Arm Soreness

  • They are only eligible for Training Phases 1A or 1B

#3: ARM SORENESS PRESENT 3 DAYS AFTER GAME/PERFORMANCE DAY

A player had a Game or Performance Day 3 days ago and woke up this morning with Arm Soreness

  • They are only eligible for Training Phases 1A or 1B
  • Do not attempt any throwing until Arm Soreness subsides

#4: ARM SORENESS 1 DAY AFTER TURNED TO GENERAL BODY SORENESS TWO DAYS AFTER

A player had Arm Soreness the day after a Game or Performance Day, but on the morning two days after they ONLY have General Body Soreness with NO Arm Soreness.

  • On Day 1, because Arm Soreness was present, have them follow Scenario #1 listed above 
  • On Day 2, with ONLY General Body Soreness present, they are eligible for Training Phases 1A, 1B, and 2.  Do not exceed Training Phase 2

#5: GENERAL BODY SORENESS 1 DAY AFTER GAME/PERFORMANCE DAY

A player had a Game or Performance Day yesterday, and woke up this morning with General Body Soreness and NO Arm Soreness.  

  • They are eligible for Training Phases 1A, 1B, and 2.  Do not exceed Training Phase 2

#6: GENERAL BODY SORENESS 2 DAYS AFTER GAME/PERFORMANCE DAY

A player had a Game or Performance Day two days ago and woke up this morning with General Body Soreness and NO Arm Soreness.

  • You are eligible for Training Phases 1A, 1B, 2, 3, 4A, and 4B.  Do not attempt any Performance Phase

#7: NO SORENESS PRESENT 1 DAY AFTER GAME/PERFORMANCE DAY

A player had a Game or Performance Day yesterday, and woke up this morning with NO Arm Soreness.

  • They are eligible for Training Phases 1A, 1B, and 2.  Do not exceed Training Phase 2
